What’s new?

The Volt 4 being the first of its kind, we didn’t really have a benchmark at the time of its launch. Now, the market has grown and so have our knowledge and our know-how! Compared to its predecessor, the Volt 5 has gained performance at full speed and has significantly improved the floating in lifting air. Its ability to sniff out thermals will leave you astounded! Last but not least, it is now built in double-coated Dominico DOKDO-10DSF for top and bottom surfaces, a Superlight construction made to last!

– Delivered with 12mm aramid risers as standard. Superlight Dyneema risers available as an option (-110g)

What doesn’t change?

While introducing the 2-liner design in the EN-C category, the Volt has proven its accessibility. This is something that doesn’t change with the Volt 5. AirDesign has a small one

We work hard on every model to be able to maintain the behavior of the glider in terms of flying, and also outside the flight envelope, for all the certified weights, starting by the smallest ones. The certification of most of our wings starts at 50 kg because we chose to announce only what we have actually tested. And above all, because we make sure that the glider is efficient, secure and fun at this load and this is as important as the certification itself! Our aim is to have light pilots find the same pleasure to fly as heavier ones. More info
