Low sink rates and fast opening are what define the SECURE. The Rapid Inflation System (RIS) designed by U-Turn is providing very low opening time.
Particular ribbons cause that the canopy does not lie flat on top of each other at the ‚base‘, but that an accurate calculated pre-tension generates air gates. Thereby the filling behaviour is positively influenced, especially in the first few milliseconds. For the SECURE the PARATEX RS is used. The cloth was designed by U-Turn in co-operation with Paratex and optimized for the usage in reserve parachutes. It is a tear-proof nylon fabric, which fulfilles the high demands to tear resistance and at the same time ideal porosity, at only 40 grams per square meter. The fabric quality additionally ensures the relatively small pack size of the SECURE.

The INFINITY5 is a XC wing which will take every pilot to the next class with much safety. The endless flying fun with the legendary INFINITY-feeling goes into the fifth generation. U-Turn Bag Element Speed
Practical and equipped with many comfort features is the ELEMENT SPEED catching with their elegant and frillless design. Clear divided and compact-sleek designed the new backpacks join function and design in a perfect way.
The both main characteristics of a backpack are easy to define: the gear has to fit in and the carrying comfort has to fulfill all wishes. In both disciplines the ELEMENT SPEED is on top. The SPEED as a quick-pack-bag has even 195 liter.

In the parachute area soft links have been established for a long time since they are a light alternative for flexible links without metal. Soft links are used instead of mallions, for the reserve-parachute-suspension and even as link to the harness.
The extreme saving of weight is only one reason for the rising demand of the Dyneema-link. Compared to usual metal links, soft links are absolutely shatterproof and most intensively loadable. Especially in the paraglider area the soft link is an efficient alternative for the homogeneous link between lines and straps. The soft link is looped, depending on the size, 2 to 3 times and then sealed with a loop. The production is very sophisticated since the specific line material is spliced three times and sewed afterwards.
U-Turn is offering the soft links in the sizes M (400 kg), L (800 kg) and XL (2400 kg). All sizes command a certification and a detailed assembly instruction is included in delivery.
HERE COMES THE COMFORT INTO FULL EFFECT
The new reversible harness from U-Turn is combining comfort and functionality in highest quality. The full-value harness is also in the convertible mode convincing with high comfort. The ergonomic load bearing system with efficient padding is guaranteeing optimized load arrangement. Uncompromising functionality was first during the designing process and that despite the higher complexity because of the turning-function.
The light weight allround-harness can be adjusted to the demands of the pilot. The differentiated adjustments from seat board- and back inclination paired with the safe from adjustments suspension-geometry are leading to a very high sitting comfort with direct feedback. For the first time a new fabric material with kelvar core was used for the main suspension, in combination with the sophisticated sewing this achieved new highest levels at the tearing tests. To avoide pinch point hazards in the crotch area the leg loops are being closed to the outside. Two bags on the side are providing storage space for devices and flight accesoires. As usual U-Turn is setting great value upon protection. The INSIDE was equipped with the established accumulated-air-airbag, which has outstanding damping worths because of the big air volume. Already when taking off the airbag with the back chamber reaches the maximum protective effect. The container for the rescue parachute is under the seat board, the arrangement near the body’s center of gravity is leading to boundless freedom of movement and benefits the triggering without strain.
The backpack is exceptionally generous dimensioned and is providing enough storage space for the whole equipment. The robust outer casing cares for abrasion resistance under rough circumstances. Many elaborate details are strengthening the functionality, a net bag as well as removable lid pocket are providing additional storage space possibilities. At the material loops on the bottom of the backpack it is possible to attach trekking canes, and reflex-material is caring for better visibleness. The ergonomic hip strap is also equipped with pockets, to make room for the phone or other valuables.

High safety, cool looking design and practical functionality. For those who are looking for an especially compact and simple solution, the special container for PROTECT NANO may be the first choice. The weight of the small rescue is optimized due to the innovative fabric Paratex RS 40 and on the basis of the low measurements the container is feathery. The outcome of this is a perfect solution. Despite of the small measurements the NANO reaches very low sinking rates, so that it also carries users in the classical M-weight area safely. The pilots have the choice with the PROTECT III RIS L and XL: There are specially adjusted custom-built front containers, which shine with low weight for the total weight-system. There are also conductions with cockpit-function for both rescues available. The pocket attached on the rescue container provides space for VARIO and GPS and some other implements like cell phone, iPhone, wallet and so on. The pocket is well padded and has a perforated sheet-protector which is processed with a zipper into the coping.

Even on windy days one can carefully and single-handedly fold the INFINITY III and store it accordion fashion in this high-quality inner packsack. The tube-bag consists of high-quality, breathable material and is internally lined with an extra gentle cloth. The tube-bag is padded in the area where the leading edge of the glider is located. Together with the elaborate seams and the YKK zippers, the new U-Turn bag meets the highest functional and quality demands.
Never has it been so easy to pack a glider in such a careful manner. A separate compartment comes with the bag for the U-Turn glider shoulder straps. The tube-bag can be folded as necessary to store in the actual backpack for transportation. At the same time the new bag is equipped with its own shoulder strap so that the folded glider can be easily transported - e.g. to the practice slope - without having to haul the actual transportation bag along. At our new all-round harness by U-Turn the name says it all. RX4 stands for relax to the power of 4 and this applies to the seating comfort as well as to the very high safety standard through the innovative foam protector. The light all-round harness is offering comfort in highest quality and processing – built for athletic adventurers.
The RX4 was designed as sporting all-round harness. Thereby the light design and slim shape emphasize the sporty character. Nevertheless much value was placed on maximum protection - and thereby the new developed foam protector achieves the top damping values of 23,45 grams. The innovative and certified system thereby offers very high safety already at the beginning of the starting phase.
The RX4 can be perfectly adjusted to the particular needs of the pilot. The differentiated adjustment possibility of seating board and back tilt paired with the elaborate suspension system provide optimized adaption and very high seating comfort. The leg loops are padded with neoprene and are closed outwards - that prevents uncomfortable pressure marks in the crotch area. The ergonomically formed seating board is an in-house development, it combines particular robust features and high break resistance with low weight. The rescue container pocket is positioned directly under the seating board, this arrangement near the body‘s center of gravity facilitates the release of the rescue with low exertion of force. Additionally the pocket is slotted, to ease the pulling out. A particular easy pull outside container enables a smooth release of the rescue system even if the direction of movement is in an angle of 90 degrees.
For the two main suspensions a very hard-wearing tissue material with a Kevlar core was used. In combination with the elaborate seaming this ensures the high abrasion resistance and maximum values at the tearing tests. Additionally the flaps are color-coded and pose the perfect supplement in interaction with the color code on the risers.
